There are some great things about having a husband with a crazy schedule...1. We get to live a very flexible and relaxed life, 2. No two days are ever the same, and 3. We get to do things as a family in the middle of the week while everyone else is living in the daily grind...
There is nothing like getting a month into school and then having vacation...well, sort of. Mark is on vacation from work. The rest of our life keeps going, but at least we get to have him home with us. We also get to take advantage of midweek field trips as a family! On Wednesday, we went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle and today we went to Stoney Ridge Farm! So fun!
The Museum of Flight was pretty interesting, I especially recommend it if you are studying WWI or WWII. They had great exhibits with lots to learn about those two wars. It was a little tough with four little kids all day, but they were troopers! We got to go into the old Air Force One and a Concorde airplane. And the kids got to try to fly a simulator of a Blue Angel! Very cool.
Stoney Ridge is always fun. Just a part of fall around here. My favorite part is making memories and building family traditions!

Tara-
We finally had a cold day here. My girls wore sweatshirts with their shorts and flip-flops. :) We went to the beach last week for our "fall" break. Enjoy all the beautiful leaves and cold mornings with Americanos . . . for me. I miss you, friend.

Tara, Good job enjoying your husband's crazy schedule. That is honoring to him and a great example to your kids. Love seeing Christ in you! Fall at our house "in town" means that we enjoy squirrels scurrying around the backyard. Our favorites are the black ones. Have a lovely day!
Ok Tara,
I'm going to be very addicted to your blog too.
My boys would be so into the Museum of Flight. We went to one in Oregon twice. The P52 Mitchell was a plane that they recognized and love. Glad you had a good time.
I'll try to post some pictures of the Flight Museum tomorrow, Leslie! It was fun to chat with you guys tonight a bit. Thanks for staying later!!
