Making Memories--Whidbey Island

For the past three weekends we have managed to go on
fun day trips, thanks to our tour guide, Uncle Dan.

One of our adventures included touring
Dan's old stomping grounds.
We toured Whidbey Island, but we had so much fun,
that we didn't get very far, so we'll have to have a part two.
We spent much of our time at Fort Casey.

Danica and me...
My not so little, little girl.

Trying to get creative with poses...

We were trying for more silhouette pictures,
but it just wasn't quite cutting it this time.
I loved this one with Danica's hand on Jonathan's shoulder.
Proof that they really are best friends!!

We enjoyed a beautiful day watching boats,
 looking out over the water,
and exploring the beach some.
 Love this father/son pic.

  Ellie exploring, flashlight in hand.

 These canons were so cool.
And of course, Stephen and Jonathan found
their own weapons on the beach!

It is so rare that I get pictures of me with our kids...
it's a mom thing, right?
Mark took over the camera and captured some memories
with me in them!!

 Loved on by my boys.
Love it.
