The update...

...well, it's AN update, anyway...

Those people came out a second time to really look at our house.

This time they really, really liked it.

In fact, they told us they had fallen in love with it!?!

They are the sweetest family.

They have two young kids.

They are just what I imagine living here when we don't...

So the update is, we are working through the 

details with them, and if all goes as planned, 

we will be moving out of our old farmhouse this spring!?!

Now, we are not holding our breath,

(okay, maybe we are a little bit,)

because we know that anything can happen.

We are still thanking God for bringing these people to us,

without us ever listing or promoting,

or even being ready to sell our house.

That is what I asked for...

So for now we are trusting God's timing,

and His plan for us.

If this really happens, we will miss so much about this place.

The yard, the memories, the parties, the coffee dates, 

the neighbors, the old trees, the barn...

(Uh oh, I am getting ahead of myself...

I'll save the sappy for when we sign papers...)

We aren't sure which direction to head from here,

we have many ideas, but we are still figuring that out.

We welcome any leads on rentals around the county.

Or ideas for creative temporary living if any of you 

have been on an adventure like this before!!

We are expecting an adventure, that's for sure.

After almost fourteen years of living in this house, 

remodels, raising our kids here and 

filling this home with memories and kids and stuff,

moving out of here will be nothing short of an adventure!!

It'll be interesting to see what the next few months hold...
