Two of the best parts of anything in life.
This year for Christmas, we are doing an advent calendar
like we did last year, only for 24 days of anticipating,
instead of the 12 days of Christmas we did last year...
One of our advent activities introduced our new Elf on a Shelf.
This is the clue Jonathan read to find him.
"Look for something fishy from the North Pole..."
We named him "Elfvis"...pretty creative, huh?
It is amazing how Elfvis has developed
quite a personality in just two days in our house.
He is mischievous, but cute.
Clever. Likes sweets. Merry.
This is where the kids first found him:
..."fishing" on our bookshelf.
Day two found him in our candy bowl.
He even got into our almond roca chocolate!
His face proved his lack of innocence on this one...
We are going to enjoy anticipating what Elfvis gets into,
and we'll debrief his trouble-making for years to come!!!
Wonder what he'll get into tonight!!!

I can't wait till our elf arrives! I have no idea what to call him though-I better get on that. Looking forward to seeing what Elfvis does next.
