A burden has been lifted!!

...and it literally brought me to tears!

You know, the kind where you can't hold back?

The tears of joy because the burden is lifted, while

at the same time, tears of relief that the pain is over.

Today was the day.

The day we got our final approval papers in the mail!

We have been waiting for this for a long time...

It has been a challenging and emotional ride for over five years...

There were days we thought we hit a wall,

and days we thought we might lose it all (literally)...

Days where we'd rejoice over something passing,

and days where we'd cry because it was too much to bear.

But we made it.

Mark worked SO hard, going above and beyond.

He poured himself into this project.

How does the saying go... blood, sweat and tears?

And God showed us that His timing is perfect.

He made something out of nothing, many times!

He walked us through each step of the way.

He made things happen that only He could do.

We are so thankful to have this burden lifted!

We are better for it.

We are closer to Him because of it.

God showed us His faithfulness in big 

and small ways in the midst of it.

We don't understand God's timing, but we trust Him 

all the more as we enter the next chapter of our life.

His plan is perfect.

He's got the WHOLE world in His hands.

That includes our property!!!

So clink your glass to mine...

Here's to Mark, his hard work and perseverance.

Here's to a God who loves us and won't ever leave us.

Here's to whatever is next.

And here's to nice people that want to buy property!!
