Jonathan, age 6, got the idea to make this special lemonade for his big sister, Danica, age 10. He decided it needed to be extra special so he got a flower to put in it.

The best part, is that one day these two are like this, and the next day they are driving each other crazy! A couple of years ago, they were fighting and bugging each other so much that I had to discipline them. Their discipline was that they had to play UNO together, and they had to keep playing until they had a good time with each other! It worked. So well, that for quite some time, they would voluntarily play a game of UNO together just for fun!
Lately, unfortunately, there is more bugging than special drink making...might be time for some more 'discipline'!!

So sweet, Tara....and great idea for discipline. It kind of reminds me of my husband. When my 2 older boys fight, he makes them stand and hug each other for a certain amount of time! :)

Cuteness! The flower is so sweet of him. Awww. Love the UNO idea. Beats sending them to the closet until they can get along. jk;o)
The UNO thing was kind of a joke at first, but then it worked so well...it became a 'note to self' for the future!! It does come in handy!!
