We stayed two nights with a wonderful family...the Scansens! They moved from Washington to go to seminary in California and now they are in Billings pastoring a church there.
They were so hospitable to us! We spent three days having the best conversations... encouraging, funny and heartfelt! Our kids had the best time hanging out with their kids. They are such sweet older kids with amazing servant hearts. What a treat it was for us to get to know them more and see how God is using this family in Montana. We wished we could have stayed longer!
It was such a great way to start out our vacation. Our conversations with the Scansens really set the pace for our trip. They shared how God brought them to the place they are...I love hearing other people's testimonies as God uses them! Mark and I had so much fun talking about what the Lord is doing in our own lives as we drove miles and miles and miles...Vacations are so great for catching up and getting refreshed that way!
